Default New Prodigy album

Anyone else listened to the new Prodigy album called "Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned" ?

Proper return to the old skool. Absolutely love it, especially the track called Girls.

Cheers for that, when did it come out?

Fat of the Land is one of my favourite albums. I defy anyone to drive slowly whilst Firestarter or Diesel Power is playing

Note to myself: Down to HMV first thing tomorrow

Can't say I'm impressed. All that wait for an album that was supposed to be a return to the old Prodigy.

Must have listened to it 15 times over hoping it would grow on me . . . still waiting.

mmmmmmm......I'm a big fan of the old' school stuff, from "The Experience", "Music for the jilted" and "fat of the land", but I'm not too keen on this new one. It don't sound like the Prodigy as I know it, but things have to change, and this new album will hopefully grow on me. I suppose it was back in '92 when "The experience" was released!!!!

Too dark imo, they should have some happy pills and try again
Loved the first three btw but there was a certain someone writing most of the tracks then....

I think it's actually quite good too to be honest. Some of the tracks are 'growers' but others (Girls/Spitfire inc) are instant hits IMO. It's not like their old stuff because it's not SUPPOSED to be like their old stuff.

Not many of the original members of the group are still there!

Anyway if you think that there are some funny 'debates/arguements' here in NSR, check this out! http://212.67.202.86/~theprod/bb/viewtopic.php?t=396

Class!

Don't mean to sound dumb, but who wrote most of the new stuff.

Was it Keith Flint?

Thumbs up

That is a damn interesting website (I reckon) for all the Old Skool ravers.

Except they've fixed it so you can't link to the pics. But... we don't get put off by that....

Check out this sculpture at Castle Morton...

Amazing that people took the trouble to build something so cool. You just don't get free parties like that anymore

yep its just liam howlett and a trusty copy of propellerheads reason, i havent heard any of it yet but im eager to, FOTL was excellent but it will be interesting to see if the move from hardware to software in the song construction has been a good one.

Might have to check this out.. Agree that "Fat of the Land" is a rather good album. Happen to have found a very old CD of mine with "Out of Space" on it, classic track
