We found 30 boxes of Tudor crisps in an old air raid shelter. They had been nicked from a nearby holding depot.
we sold them at school for 4p a pack, there were cheeseburger, mint sauce and other dodgy flavours. we put the school tuck shop out of business for a week.

When we were 11 we went on a school trip to France. The kids at the back of the bus had Newcastle tops on and were waving Tudor crisp packets at the back window cos they were made in Peterlee, just down the road from us.
The passing cars must have thought they were complete noodles (and they'd have been right)
