Gasoline-powered vehicles rule the roads today, but if the auto industry and the U.S. government have their way, they may soon have to share it with hydrogen fuel cell cars:

There are only two problems with fuel cells:
The fuel....
and the cell....
....unfortunately!

It takes more fossil fuels to run a fuel cell vehicle than it does to run a hybrid (like a Toyota Prius, which you can already buy today and which doesn't require the manufacturing of a trillion dollar infrastructure).
