Sometimes do you want something a lot then buy/get it and it doesnt seem so special?
I ordered a special edition watch last year. I already had a newish standard version of it and a vintage version of it but wanted the new special/limited edition as well.
So i got it when it came out and sold my newish standard version of it and thought thats that then,sorted. But now, while i still like the new special edition it doesnt really mean anything to me. I can wear it and not really care or feel anything for it. It's just not me you could say, but i cant really explain why ???
Anyone had similair experiences with things?

It happend to me with cars !

Happened a few times with me too. I've been lusting after a 996 Ducati for 4 years, s6 months after I bought my Fazer 
. I've got the cash I just don't want to buy it as the desire will go and what would I want then.

i remember one time i went clothes shopping after i'd had a couple of pints. i ended up buying a leather jacket for about £300. it was the most expensive item of clothing i'd ever bought. next day i looked at it, put it on and thought "not really me, this jacket".
i gave it to me brother the following day.
about six months later i was in camden, on the lash. it had been a nice day and i was out in a t shirt, but it started to get cold. i dashed down to the market and bought the first s/h leather jacket that looked as though it'd fit me. paid £20 for it, put it on and went back to the pub. been wearing it ever since.
