Can anybody recommend the cheapest online place for MiniDV camcorder tapes..

Also I have a JVC Camcorder, can I use say Sony, TDK tapes ok !!!

Yes you can use other brands although I would try and stick to the big names for quality sakes. I have used JVC, Panasonic and TDK in my camcorder - have also used sony but found these gave off a lot of dust/fibres and looked like they were going to clog the heads quite quickly.


I have found ebay is pretty good for brand new mini-dv tapes at the moment, have a look. Avoid currys, dixons etc if you don't want to pay over the top.
