Would you buy / use one of these?

TBH probably not, The only time I would consider it would be if the snow was really slushey at the end of the day, I'm sure with a group of mates it would be a laugh but I wouldn't give up a good days skiing for a go on it! I have done a couple of winter seasons and these and other similar snow bikes etc are becoming more popular but seem to be quite difficult to stop! But as long as everyone enjoys themselves (and doesn't stop other people) then each to their own. Unless they get to the fresh tracks before me!!

Cheers

Andy

By the looks of that thing, falling could be a painful process - and removing bits of an ally handlebar from chest, legs, wedding-tackle, doesn't sound like a fun proposition....

Might be wrong, so then again, it could be quite a laugh - but you wouldn't take it too seriously. Not something I'd do for a whole week, or probably even a whole day...

Would be a laugh for a while. But wouldn't buy one. There are cheap conversion kits for the wheeled variety available.

utterly pointless on anything but the greenest of green runs or nursery slopes and downright dangerous anywhere else

Wouldn't entertain it myself, rather stick to boarding.

At what price?

I'm not sure I'd bother tbh. Looks a bit lethal if you were to fall, and it'd be near-impossible on lifts, I should think.
It might be worth a look if they're cheap, but it does look like a good way to belt youself on the head
