Greenflies
I washed the wagon this morning, drove 5 miles into the next village and the windscreen and front of the car was covered in the tiny green critters 
And I never went over 90

Since last Thursday there have been millions of the little blighters around work. Go outside and walk anywhere and you get covered in them.
And they sting.
Anyone know where they've all come from?

When a 30mph northerly wind is blowing them onto your earlobe, they do sting, too! 
They seem to have all hatched on the same day this year, like Mayflies. Never noticed it before.

My god I just drove from bristol to heathrow and back on the M4 (in less than 3 hours 
) and I can barely see out my windscreen for green splodges!!!
I've never experienced it that bad in 10 years of driving!!! Whats going on?
