Hi all,
Just had a nasty shock with the leccy bill.
We've got a 6kw sauna that we use for around an hour each time twice a week.
Any ideas what this costs per session?

Not sure what we're paying per unit - we're in North London. (with Sainsbury/Scottish Power if that's any help)

I use the local gym for mine.

But in your position I would consider using the local lamppost.

so 12 kWh per week, or approx 50 kWh/month

If you currently use <225 kWh per month, then the rate per extra kWh is somewhere between 10.97-13.65p/kWh, depending on what plan you are on, and it could be as high as 18.51p/kWh if you are on a green energy plan.

So cost per month will be somewhere between 5.49 and 9.26 quid a month.

If you use >225kWh per month, the cost will be less.
