Evo Magazine subscribers
I noticed June issue of Evo on the shelf in WH Smiths today. I'm a subscriber and have not yet received my copy. IIRC each issue is normally on the doormat around the 1st Thursday of every month.
I'm not moaning but I thought subcribers received their copies a few days before they hit the shelves!
What a bummer.

Normally get mine before it is in the shops. Although last month, this wasn't the case. I must admit that is why I subscribe too (I always get Car Magazine well before it is in the shops).

I`m another one who gets it delivered after its in the shops, in the past its been upto ten days late, I`ve phoned up the subscribtion line & told them my problems & was told I`d would be put on a VIP list, then being certain to receive before it was in the shops. The only difference is that it now arrives in a different envelope. Still late.

I allways get mine around the middle of the month, which is not so bad as I live in Germany. Except that you can get it in Frankfurt train station before I receive it Although it costs around £10 in Frankfurt, so its not so bad

for quite a long time now its usually the other way around
prob since they were taken over by that large publishing company some time back ?

This isn't uncommon.
It takes between up to three days to get a magazine from the printer, through wholesale and into the shops (unless the publisher pays extra for next-day delivery).
But clearly, some shops will get them next day, some the day after and some, at the far end of the delivery chain, will take longer still.
Subscription copies can be very fast to arrive if the printer has a despatch faciity and you get lucky with the post. But if subs have to go via a mailing house first and then get unlucky with the mail, it's going to take a few days.
Richard.
PS Newspapers use a different, dedicated sevice. It's very expensive!
