CD help.
Probably somthing to go tats up but anyhow..
OK, I've got an in car phone charger that doesnt fit my mobile so its useless. If I cut the end that goes into the cig lighter and wire the other end to a headphone plug and plug that into a portable cd player, would I be able to hear sound through the speakers of the car??
Electronics wasn't my strong point so it will prolly not work, or will it?
cheerz

No cos the ciggy lighter isn't connected to the speakers i think. Just go to Argos of something and get a casette thingy which goes in the tape player and the other end goes in to the headphone socket, only a couple o quid.

If you do that you'll put 12v of strong car battery right into your portable CD's headphone socket - which is designed to take sounds OUT of the CD player into the earphones. You should fry it nicely.
