And quite right too. It really wouldnt be fair if one team lost would it.
Let's think of the kids in this issue. Can you imagine their utter despair at losing a school football match. It could bring on long term depression, suicidal tendencies, drug dependency etc.
Also, costly after event counselling would be needed if there was a losing side to try to offset some of the above which would have to come out of the schools budget therefore leaving less money to spend on books like "Ian & John go for a massage together".
Chip.

Seriously though, if it is not a wind-up, it is a very good way to help ensure that eventually those children wi not have the slightest idea how to cope with the real world when they leave school.

I'd hate to be the kid that scores goal no. 5. Imagine how someone would (quite rightly!) be treated by the rest of the team if they were to deliberately score four own goals and then get sent off!
Kids aren't that stupid, are they? All they need do is get to 4-0 and then play for time - keep possession but don't shoot at the goal. How extraoadinarily dull
What does it teach the team that's winning, anyway? Don't bother ever making an effort, it's a waste of time. However well you do, there will always be some b*stard around to spoil it.

Can i have that for my GCSEs aswell? I really could not cope with getting low grades and to see the guys who get all A*s faces when they get taken down to C
Or how about we could do that with politics so if Tony Blair is winning we could get rid of his votes and give the BNP extra ones....
How bloody stupid <angry face>

WTF?? Kids need to learn to lose, it's part of life, and the average person will have to endure alot of losing in their lifetime.
If this ever became practice we will end up with full grown adults who always think they'll win and throw tantrums and cry when they realise the realities of life - that you will always lose at something!
