Default BCP Parking - Gatwick

Does anyone know what sort of parking BCP at Gatwick provides? Is it proper parking bays or one of these where cars are parked with about an inch gap all round ??

Cheers
Steve

1" gap plus a good chance some contractors will cut through the car park, screw up your car and leave you and your insurance to pick up the bill. At least I read a story like that on here.

I would only leave an old banger in there not anything decent.

You might be lucky and get one of the places up against a fence/in a corner but beware is my advice.

IIRC last time I used a gatwick park (think it was bcp although not 100% sure) it was normal sized bays and you keep hold of your keys. Might've changed in the last few years I dunno.

I park my car all the time at Gatwick in both short term and longterm car parks with no bother at all. But I always use the on site Car Parks. BCP costs £52 for 7 days as per an online quote. The Gatwick on site long term parking is £49 or you can prebook the short term car park for only £66. Both are secure in my humble opinion. I have a mate who parks a Bentley there every day.

Why on earth would I tell him there is a potential problem if there isn't?

tell you what if your car is OK tell us about it, if like other people have had happen (and posted on here about it) it gets fcuked up then tell us.

The bottom line is that it's an unattended car park where your car is at risk, just as if you left it in a supermarket or any other place. Just don't delude yourself it's secure or safe because it isn't.

Shame my search facility doesn't work or I would drag up the old threads.

Thumbs up

Cheers for the replys.

Doing a search for Gatwick parking quotes comes up with many places to park but is hard to know what type it is until you arrive. Just trying to avoid the ones behind petrol stations where the space between cars is so small I have not got a clue how they move them.... when we collected our car last time the keys were in the ignition on the garage forecourt with the handbrake off

Hoping to blag a lift up... but need a backup plan if a snowboard/skis, luggage and 3 people dont fit in a BMW compact
