Question Spyware Link

Can anyone provide me with a link for the two programmes that seek out and destroy spyware, please?

I would do a search for them, as they were posted fairly recently but can't since the format was rudely changed(moan moan LOL).

I do a clean-up most days using Spybot & Registry Mechanic. E-bay seems to be a particularly fertile zone for the *******.

Also, try Ad Aware, and use this in addition to Spybot. I've found that after running Spybot, Ad Aware picks up a few remaining pieces of scumware. Similarly, after running Ad Aware, Spybot picks up a few. Use both for better resistance.

Yeah, that was the other one I was thinking of. Cheers. It's doing its work as I type.

Just be careful of ad-aware, not saying it is suspect, but I have had a few problems with it, and McAfee's anti ad-ware program doesn't like it and it stops Nortin being installed properly

yah - one problem I have had in the past with ad-aware was that it kinda stuffed up the registration of MS office products and I had to re-active them by inserting product CD etc.. not had that problem with spybot so far
