Called today with your Gas Order WTF ?????
Got a note pushed through the door, with the following
Dear Customer
We Called today with your gas order. Unfotunatly we could not get an answer, due to the high cost of road fuel we are no longer able to chance repeat visits. We would be obliged if you would contact our office to arrange another convenient delivery time

WTF is that all about, I havent ordered any Gas, I have a large pipe connected to the mains, where my Gas comes in, and pay a bill for it every month
Havent a damn clue what it is
Anyone any ideas ?

gonna give em a call tomorrow but I doubt they work weekends
Whatever it is, it has come from (and is probably back in) Blackpool of all places !!
I wouldnt mind but they are obviously on a cost cutting excersise not even attempting to make a 'chance' return, the note is a small piece of photocopied (business card size) badly cut tatty cheap paper
not the 'proper' card like you get from the postie
all sounds a bit Suss to me
Phone call will be good though ' scuse me where is my Gas I ordered ? I cant see it anywhere

Could be a bottled gas delivery for someone - do your neighbours have a gas bbq or welding gear? I'm surprised the name of the supplier wasn't on the slip.

Well the mystery is now over (at least for me anyway )
Phoned em up, they said 'sorry someone must be pulling your leg, there is no way we would deliver Gas that far away, you need to phone your local depot' so he gave me the number, phoned em up, and it was a message giving me two options,
1. To order Gas
2. Phone this number incase of emergencies
It is for gas bottles, but not for me they obviously didnt read the number of my house, it is quite easy to read my numbers too
