Ran Over a Dog
#1
I ran over a neighbours dog this evening. They saw it happen and were pretty cool about it and told me it wasn't my fault and everything (It ran straight out in front of me, no time to brake and couldn't swerve because of a parked car beside me)
Anyway, my question is do I need to report it to the police? I know that accidents that involve hitting cars or road furniture should be reported. But do accidents that involve pets? esp if the owners are present and aware of the incident?

Don't won't to put a damper on things but...
make sure u get it in writing cos it will cost u big time if they decide otherwise.

You no longer need to report dogs to the police.
I worked with a guy called 'Ballroom Baz'. His father-inlaw took his two beloved jack russels for a walk one day, later Baz got back to find his father-inlaw sitting rather sheepish in the living room. When asked where the dogs were he said "on top of yer bin in a black bag". Their leads were tied together and one of the yappie ***** had darted for the road, got creamed by a car which then dragged the other under it! Bwoarrha hahahahaha.
