I'm fairly left wing, leaning towards the Libertarian side too.

I'm not far from Ghandi & Nelson Mandella on the graph

Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: 0.62
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 2.56

WHAT THE ****! I'm right next to Tony Twatface Blair. And yet i disagree with everything he usually comes out with (assylum mongs + slack with criminals etc). Weird.

I am not a floating voter swaying with the wind, but what concerns me is what happens to this country. I just happen to be proud of being British and am not frightened to say so.

I will look at all the party's policies, then at the people in those parties and try to decide how honest they are and whether they are altruistic or concerned only for their own careers at the cost of running the country properly. Above all they should support this country themselves and should govern for the well being and safety of the people of this country.

If they seem to fulfil all that then they will get my vote regardless of their political colours. How I feel after that depends on their performance while in power.

Les

Another member of the libertarian right - that makes two of us in total I think...

Oh, and how can a stance lie anywhere? Doesn't it stand..

OK, I'll get my coat....

On a point of order, ajm - your ***** up was actually made just after you had blown the froth off your first ale of the day!

A pity that you confused an up & coming member of the Conservative party with one of my "lifeboat cronies"!!!!!

Just to the right of the Dalai Lama, cooking the rice and wondering if he'd mind me putting a little Chicken in it and would he like red or white...

I was slightly down and very slightly to the left but essentially right in the middle. So, basically, not extreme in any sense.
