Get ready to use plenty of opposite lock!
It's great fun to do. I did it on an oval circuit on an ice rink so it was just the same drift all the time. It would have been even better had it been on circuit with left and right handers.
There's not really any other advice to give apart from have fun and don't go taking it too seriously. You're bound to end up losing it bigtime.....if not by accident then just for the sake of it!! lol!
Enjoy!

Doing it somewhere in Bracknell, guess its probably on the Ice rink, sorry to sound vague, all I know is we are meeting at a Hotel about 45 mins before.
Its a pre-event for the Cannonball DVD which is launched Friday night.
From the advice so far it sounds like just nail the throttle & hang on for the most fun

I organised an Ice Karting event last year for the Bristol mob at Bristol Ice Rink. It was great fun, yes you do get very wet as the time goes on, so do wear waterproofs or take a change of clothes. Don't take it seriously. It was a great laugh. If the one you are going to is anything like the one we did, the "marshalls" are ice skaters not karters, so they may forget to count a few of your laps, they like to chat to one another rather than watch the karts.
Have fun
