This is a hard one for me as my mate played me all the albums prior to Fish leaving the band - then he declared them dead in the water. The latest stuff has thrilled me admittedly.
Best song for me is .........ok two then, - Lady Nina and Hook in you (love that guitar riff and sound).
Best album for me is......... oh hell, controversial one 'Seasons end'.
What these guys upto lately anyway?

They've got a new double studio albumn out in April.
I did'nt like Two Hogarth Albumns, Brave and Radiation but Anoraknophobia is sweet. For me though I think Clutching at Straws was the best, probably followed by Fugazi.
The wife can always tell when I get 'moody' as I play all thier stuff again. I don't get moody very often though.

Marillion have produced some excellent stuff over the years and Steve Rothery is one of the most overlooked guitarists on the planet.
The have a great website to clicky
Personal favourite are the early stuff Fugazi and Script

Steve Rothery produced my mates album a few years back, and plays on the album too, and has played at a few of their gigs too
I bought my Tascam DA88 from Steve, and I got some tapes, with Steve's demos on them , along with the original 48 track masters of my mates album
My Favourite Maril album is still Misplaced Childhood (bar Kayleigh & Lavender too commercial )
the early H era wasnt as good as the later stuff, but all good music (mostly)

Ahhhh, my fave band.
Well I have everything Fish and Marillion have done.
TBH I didn't like Radiation or Anorak.... either, although I have prepaid for the new album. Fish's Fellini Days was not great either, although "Raingods with Zippos" was excellent. reserving judgement on "Field of crows" as only got it a couple of weeks ago.
Ok so fave album, has to be Fugazi. I can recite every word off it, so much quality. Fave song, probably a live renedition of Forgotten Sons.
Ok so if i put together a compliation incl a track from every album, it would be:
Forgotten Sons
Jigsaw
Childhood end?
Hotel Hobbies
Season's End
Holloway Girl
Goodbye to all that
Beautiful
Man of a thousand faces
Three minute boy
Deserve
This is the 21st Century
Bonus track - Bell in the sea
Fish's website at www.the-company.com

'Forgotten sons.' I heard them do it live at Reading when I was on leave from Ulster. It, um, had rather an impact.
And 'The uninvited guest' from Season's End. Nowhere near as good vocals as Fish and over-produced in my opinion, but great lyrics...
