Question

I've been monitoring the local "Safety Camera Partnership" website (West Yorkshire, in particular West Leeds) recently and the published locations seem to be a little unreliable. I realise that they have a disclaimer saying they can change the locations without warning, but in the last 2 weeks, there has been no sign of the thieving bu993rs in the places I expect them.

During the week comm. 21-12 they should have been on Rodley Town Street, and this week on the Farsley Ring Road. Neither my partner nor myself has seen them once.

Have they got Christmas off ? Or is the website a crock of 5h!t3 ?

Hmmnn, well I thought they were for real, trying to get people to cut their speeds in accident blackspots, without giving the impression that they are revenue generators.

But..... They have targets to meet for KSI (Killed or Seriously Injured) figures in accidents. How better to do this than get the trust of the public, then advertise false locations, while locating the cameras elsewhere. Then, people slow down for the cameras that aren't there, and people who see the cameras in the real locations will slow down aswell, if not they donate to the government/insurance/police!!!!

Get's on my nerves it does!
