woops, got carried away last week on the motorway, got up to 80ish when i spotted a camera van on 1 of the humps, i slowed down but was probably just over 80 when he would have got me.
How tolerant are the police on motorways? would i get done for 80 or not?

Allow for the fact your speedo over reads anyway and you were probably closer to 75mph anyway

Sorry to be the person who says this but the Police forces who get a share of the profits are doing people for 79 mph on a motorway now days look on the speed trap web sites. one of my Mates got done by Essex police for 33 in a 30 by a Gatso. so you could be out of luck.

Look on the bright side the Government was going to get your money some how so saves paying higher income tax.
