My method of getting rid of the *******! slow down to a stop over 100m or so, get out the car and tell them your just making sure the tow rope is still connected!! the embarrasment is usually enough to make them stop. If it doesn't just tw*at the *******!!!

I usually stop and get out and open the boot, then walk to their window and say "there you go, anything of interest in there, cos i thought you were try to look in there!"
the other one that annoys me is the lack of indicators, i stop along side people and ask where they got their magic indicators from, was it the new telepathic shop just opened??
tw@ts!!

They do it because in their tiny minds they think that it is unfair that you are infront of them. They think all the cars infront of them should just pull over and let them through.
Their tiny minds are also unable to caculate that their MPV is going to need twice the stopping distance of your car.
In short, they have tiny minds.

Driving round the M25 this morning in the rain and the dark in a couple of tones of Land Rover you'd be amazed at the number of times people pulled into the space in front of me to gain a couple of yards.
So I guess on a couple of occasions I was guilty of tailgating for the 100 yards or so it took me to drop bask to a safe distance.
Biscuit was taken by young thrusting exec in his three series who pulled into the left-hand lane floored it then chopped in on me without indicating with his brakes on so he didn't hit the car in front.
I flashed my lights, once, just to say....
'Did you not see me, big silver car, can't miss it, if you look in your mirror you probably can't see anything else, in a friendly sort of way.
Want to know his response?????
He brake tested me!
You've got to laugh haven't you!
We were doing 85 in the fast lane in the wet!
I mean, have you ever seen a V8 Discovery try to stop!
I'm sure the fact that he was driving a BMW was incidental.

Thats just BMW drivers for you, i used to get the same problem with the tw@ts in my discovery but one day i turned the tables on a plonker giving me a hard time in my disco, i tested how fast he could reverse away from my tow pack, i think he hit 40 in reverse and it would have been his fault too if he hit me
