Did anyone see that documentary last night? The guy was David Brent! His wife was an absolute nightmare. "Smoking is Gross Misconduct in this company" as a worker lit up a cig in the car park on his way out of the gate!
I actually think it was funnier than The Office, you just couldn't write the situations these guys out themselves in "I'm not sure it was a good idea to have the Christmas Party on a sunday night, they might not come in to work on the monday". Really? You do suprise me.

What did the company do as I only saw the last 10 mins - if they were a chemical processing plant then I can understand her comment however when she said it she was laughing - yeah right like you're gonna sack him

And....... the Wife who was smiling to herself when she caught people smoking in the yard, saying with glee that it was "Gross Misconduct" and she would have to "deal with it" Some people need to get a life!

yep the wife was David brent!, MD of a 3.5mill turnover company suggests having a xmas do with free beer on a sunday nite and then thinks o perhaps it might be better on a friday??? hello wake up and smell the f**king coffee! has that guy had a common sense bypass???? couple that with the fact they have major staff morale/retention issues!
Funniest line is when his missus (who was ugly as **** too) says what about prizes for key employees, he says like what, she says how about theatre tickets, he says **** me they cost about a tenner each! they REALLY know how to treat their staff!

Guys that cant possibly have been REAL? Was it REAL????
I looked at teletext and saw 'documentary' - now its probably illegal to pass off comedy as a doc.
PLEASE GOD TELL ME THAT WASNT REAL - IT WAS TOO BIZZARRE TO BE TRUE.
(Imagine working for that MAD grinning woman who HASNT GOT A CLUE HOW TO TREAT STAFF).
I will be so shocked if that was reality and not fiction.

Did you cringe at them practicing the karaoke? I nearly had a stroke! And when she had that pissy fit about her songs not being chosen (including a duet with hubby of Y.M.C.A) I nearly died. I didn't think people could be so utterly unimaginative and dull. I could have kissed the hubby when he made a fool of her with the mop and bucket though. Quality T.V for a Sunday.

sorry guys you're right it is real. I was watching the prog and at the start I thought it was real, but then as I got into it I thought it was one of the best written and acted comedies I'd seen in ages. I could not stop laughing, I enjoyed it so much more when I thought it was a comedy...
So there really are people like that in my country!! F*%K!
I need to lie down.
