Mmmm. Whilst I don't agree with the persons reaction, throwing a cigerette butt out of a window is not the most pleasant of things to do.

Don't agree with the other guy's actions, but all I can say regarding the cig butt is "You silly billy".

Been cycling past cars before and had cig butts in the face/body as people flick them out.

Is your ashtray not good enough? Do you also chuck out sweetie wrappers? I assume you realise that cig butts are not as biodegradable as you may think.

The problem is always cured by tackling the root cause. ie, people should not be littering the road with cig butts. It is no different from chucking out any rubbish out of your car window, so why do people think it is ok to chuck cig butts out?

I reckon the guy did over-react somewhat, but they *do* wind some people up a lot. Throwing them out of a car window can look remarkably arrogant and "don't-give-a-toss", it has to be said.

Personally, i'd ban chewing gum in public places, but then i'm weird like that.
