EvilKyote - I agree, there is no need for the tree-hugger crap. Remember, the ***-flickers are the ones in the wrong, not the people complaining about litter, who are 100% in the right.
Calling anti-litter people names is hardly progressing the argument - your defence of it being lighthearted carries no weight.

I put my point accross in light hearted tones as there is no point in getting upset over something that is so stupid! Yes you have valid points and i am not disputing that, but I think people on here are getting overly wound-up about something that ultimatly isn't gonna change a dam thing!

Ok I don't give a toss about throwing your rubbish about but I do take offence when it's thrown in my direction, a *** butt flying at me on the road pisses me off!!
Have to laugh at all the bull**** about dropping litter, I think you should be open and honest and throw all your sh*t all over the place. It might give you peace of mind knowing it's all been burried somewhere away from you but it don't hold any benefits for the planet, or indeed the people who live near the dump!!

Indeed - the issue of litter is only the beginning even if disposed of in the correct manner!
The secondary issue of trying to reduce our litter output is also key.
For instance, plastic bags in supermarkets. In Germany, they charge you for plastic bags (and started doing this in Eire too recently). It dramatically reduces those who use the cheap plastic bags, and reduces consumption of them. Nearly everyone I was behind in the supermarket in Germany brought bags with them.
They should introduce that law here in the UK, and do as Eire does by taxing the bags sold. It really does make sense.
btw, EvilKyote, you're digging a deeper hole for yourself!

Imlach,
No, I am not digging a hole deeper for myself, I am digging no hole! mind you it's something you seem to do quite well by yourself
Oh, are you going to take offence to that aswell?
Seriously thou, have I ever said 'oh shut up you moron, your talking crap!' I think not somehow! As i said before your points are valid as are mine! Unfortunatly due to the way the world works, it doesn't matter how much moaning you do, it's not gonna change a thing. it's one of those sad facts of life!
Yes, the world would be a nice place if people got out of the habbits they are in regarding dropping cig-ends etc, and I would be all for it to see people take a better view towards the environment. I just simply don't see the point in getting myself wound up over every little thing! I think we all have enough stress in our lives without making more for ourselves.
Why do you seem to think a point made with a little light heartedness is any less valid than a point made with serious heavy overtones?! You really should step back and look at the big picture!
and chill out! it's xmas after all!
