It wasn't £100K of tuning. It was about 10k worth of bits and 90k in labour - which is bollock5 because they fitted the crap for free. Bloody con!

You have to admit though, It was really funny when the Lotus engineer was fitting the spoiler, he said that the CF spoiler was worth more than the car

Don't forget the Lada was originally a Fiat 125. So basically, all it had done was all the Fiat running gear and performance parts fitted.
Anyone who can get their hands on the bits can make a Lada like that. Ok why you would want to is another question
But the bottom line is it's physically not that special. The only thing that makes it unique was it was all done by Lotus using expensive race bits (seats etc...except that nasty £35 TIM rev clock ) and it was featured on Top Gear.
Still, I think I may have a bid for a laugh, as £5K is pretty cheap conisdering the mods done to it!!
One word of warning!! The car is registered in 1996 Bear in mind the strict emision regulations came into force for vehicles manuafactured after 1992 (thus needing catalysts and closed loop EFi to meet the CO levels). And seeing it is now running on twin DCOE Webbers and performance exhaust system, AND it has no MOT. I would be very suspicious if it will ever be able to pass an MOT on emisions

OK - so the first one was posted in 'for sale' section - not exactly the right place.
The other two were after mine, so dont really count then.
And it took someone 8 days to post 'SIAL' - thats the same as 2nd class post.
Nice try though
