Anyone swopped a P800 for a P900?

Apologies as this could well be a very 'repeatable' mobile phone thread, but if you have upgraded, what's the latest one like?
Screen seems bigger - which I lke - might now even be able to see full stops as I write a Powerpoint and then take a call

P900 is superb mate, do it now!. P800 is a great phone don't get me wrong(still have 1), but the P900 is the best.
The P900 has a much more solid feel, it's also thinner. The screen resolution and colour depiction is far superior, the P800 looks 'washed out' in comparrison. P900 can take video, memory card is twice the size, keypad is now a proper lit up one (still have it removed and use the pen though). I loved the P800, but it looks very poor compared to the 900. You'll be amazed at it, video playback of downloaded vids is perfect, just like it's on a telly. Camera doesn't seem much (if any) better to me (apart from the better colour), camera and vid perform great in good light coditions. New ringtones on the phone are excellent. Get one yesterday!

James - what's the battery life like? I've just got an Orange E200 SPV through work. Cracking phone, very clever, but the battery life is truely awful. Use it for anything other than making a normal call (now there's a novelty for a phone 
) and it just dies. Don't even try the bluetooth

Battery is good IMO. Always playing with it (ooeer), I'm not a heavy caller, but I'm always messing with the internet, getting emails or taking videos or pics and it lasts me between 3 and 5 days. Phone calls don't seem to phase the battery anyway. When it's not in use the screen can completely turn off and save battery life considerably.
It really is great though, like a mini PC.
I'll put a couple of pics from the camera up in a minute, just gotta reboot my laptop, just had a runtime error and all my windows desjtop has gone, all thats left is this internet explorer window

Screen resolution is no different, still 320x204 but brighter and 65k colours instead of 4098. Smaller electronic keypad means that there is more of the screen visible in "flip closed" mode.

so using a big pda as a phone especially without the hands free kit doesn't look odd at all, unlike a p900 which looks dare i say it like a phone ! the spv sucks for data input, i think brendan has the right idea, the old 9110 is a far better tool than any of em and miles less buggy than the 9210 but it's massive and just not cool anymore :-(

If you lot want a ladies handbag size phone get one of the 'two halves' Siemens rather than a mans toy! Good luck using your dirty big male fingers pi$ed and dialing up for a curry
Personally I would rather dictate my text message to my
P Brickhundred and let it deal with it rather than squint and prod some powder puff sized keypad with the corner of my little finger Ohh and its actually quite nice to have a big screen to view when posting on Scoobynet from my motorbike as I am now...

weight and size are not the issue- unless you are a baby you will be able to hold either in a standard size human hand.....the XDA looks like a PDA though while the P900 looks like a mini brick.
anyway....i now have microsfoft voice comms on my XDA so i can say, look up XYZ and it finds them! or show my next meeting and it pulls up the diary! in fact it does everything! very cooool!

I've had a P900 for a month now.
As a PDA its the nuts, but not problem free. The Opera browser copes with sites like Scoobynet better, but the integrated browser has better functions. Eg, Opera doesn't have a favourites folder, only a history list. Most websites (incl most frames sites) and all mail flow perfectly. The only problem I have had is that Scoobynet sometimes gives a memory full message on download.
The calendar is superb, as is the multiple alarms.
What's not so good about this phone... is the phone. There's no T9 dictionary on the Contacts list and storing an incoming number is not straight forward.
I had an SPV before. This was OK as a PDA and superb as a phone. Mail and web are better than average but the diary was cumbersome. Battery life was dire.
As someone said, what clinches it for the P900 is the data entry and the screen. The scratch pad screen on the P900 is excellent and very fast to use. The resolution of the screen is great, but I would like the option of playing video in formats other than MPEG3.
I haven't loaded many apps on yet but have added V Rally. Now that is cool
