I've applied at least 3 times on that applause site for the 10th Dec prog and have had no response at all. I've only put the 10th as my GF needs to know in plenty of time to take the time off work.

Is there any other way? I assume its very popular so perhaps its just a random choice of who goes.

Any help appreciated.

OK, the key to getting on Top Gear, is once you have emailed them then call them. You'll generally speak to a lovely young lady (well, sounds like it) who will be more than happy to help you get in the audience.

The number is 0208 3242700

I arranged 14 tickets at very short notice (a week) after having sent an email about a month previous.

Good luck
Phil

drumsterphil - dont be fooled by the voice. She may be a fox, but I have been majorly caught out by assuming the face was as lovely as the voice in the past

But that's only if you get allocated tickets. By ringing them direct you find out there and then if you can get on to a particular show.

I didnt take my missus, and they were pretty insistant I took some other girl not sure Lou would appreciate that , I took my mate along in the end no one said anything.

I remember now I got a letter 14 days before the event then a phone call 7 days before the event,

They film at Dunsford Airfield in Surrey near Godmaling (spellin?) and Guilford.

When I ordered the 14 tickets they made it very clear that you had to have equal numbers (such that I had to find a woman for one of our party when his wife couldn't make it!).

However, once there, didn't get checked at all when we went into the studio, so to be honest it doesn't really seem to matter.
