There is a company called Reeves based near Aylesbury. They supplied, fitted etc my shed and deliver UK wide. They were the cheapest and also you can get things like a reinforced floor etc, specify door width...you name it really.

Will do a search on Yell.com now.

Although it would be a bit of a trek for them as I'm in Kent!?

UB - nope somewhere for the bike, mountain bikes and a kick bag - ceiling to be high enough to allow me to practice nunchucks

They deliver Countrywide. I'm sure Kent is nearer than Scotland. when i last spoke to Simon (the boss) he was on the way to Scotland.

Give em a call and see how you get on!

You might need planning permission to put a shed as big as that in your back garden. Best to check first.

Chris - have a look at Shedsmart.

On that site, I found exactly what I wanted (12' x 8', pent roof with door in exactly the right place) and at the right price ... but the delivery area didn't include Cheshire. Bugger!

If you haven't found anything else in the meantime, hope this helps.

Cool

Leslie, you don't need planning permission for it, so long as you dont build the walls from brick

"Do I need planning permission"

You will not require planning permission for a garden shed, swimming pool or any other building/structure with a use incidental to the enjoyment of the house, within your garden provided that:-

1. It does not project in front of any wall of the house which fronts onto a highway (road, footpath, service road, garage court), unless the highway is more than 20 metres away;

2. If any part of the building will be within 5 metres of any part of the house, it should not have a cubic content(i.e. length x width x height external measurements) greater than 10 cubic metres.

3. The height of the building/structure does not exceed 4 metres with a pitched roof or 3 metres in any other case.

4. The total area of ground covered by buildings/structures(not including the original dwellinghouse) within the garden would not exceed 50% of the total garden area (excluding the area of the original house).

5. The cubic content of the building does not exceed 10 cubic metres if your property is a listed building or within a conservation area.

6. There is not a planning condition attached to the original planning consent for the property stating that no sheds or other structures can be erected without the prior approval of the local planning authority. If you are not certain please check with the planning division.

7. The property is not within an area where an Article 4 direction is in force, such as a conservation area. If you are not certain please check with the planning division.

IN ADDITION:

If the proposed development is not wholly within land in your ownership (this includes guttering and foundations) planning permission will automatically be required.

If your property is a council house or a former council house please check with this Councils Legal Division, as there may be a restrictive covenant on your property.

Please check whether your proposal will require building regulation approval (advice can be obtained from this Council's building control section).

Sussex Timber in Crowborough. I have one about the same size, although not double entry!!! It is actually a sectional building. Been up 3 years now. They will come and erect it for you, although my brother in law did ours. They will deliver and erect in Kent they did one for some relatives of ours near Maidstone.

We also got one for the kids school which was mega huge and that had two doors in.
