I went last year. It is very, very busy (or at least it was on the final Sunday). It is possible to get completely ratted on the free booze samples, but this requires a lot of effort pushing to the front of the queues, appearing like a potential customer, getting a glass of firewater, then resisting the salesbods patter.
It's worth doing once if you are near the NEC, but I won't be hurrying back this year.
