Eos5 with vertical grip (Co,plete with second shutter trigger)
Much fatser and quiter...
Have a look
EOS 5 owners reports
I'm selling mine for £300.00 . The control dial is new. Its been well looked after. The grip makes it a much better camera.

Strap....!! And a nice one. I am keping my lenses as they all work with my other bodies.
Its been a fantastic camera. The little flash is great for fill in etc. The balance of it is perfect.
Lenses for canons are easy to get. Most placeshave lots for sale second hand. Some very cheap... You will be lucky to get a camera and the lens you want... I would paly with a few in a shop and decide what you realy like.
I would reccomend. The CanonEF 28-135 usm image stabilzer. Great lens.

Its a crimbo pressie for the gf - I've got a point and press digi thing which means going into the shop would serve no benefit.
What about the Pentax SF7 as theres one on ebay at £112 with a 35-70mm lens
