also wanted a reversing camera

Have you got the starling screen in yours because I am looking to put a reversing camera on it as well.....

For putting a sub in I would just put a 12" Rockford fosgate sub and amp in as it will sound much better

 

dude please let me know how you get on with this, i have the same car, from 07 sti i took out my alpine 12" type r that used to rock my car into the new sti and it sounded pants!! upgraded to the rockford p3 and still was not great upgraded again to the rockford T1 and still still not great at all. i tested my rockford p3 in my friends golf and daaaaaaaam!!!!! it torn the place down!! so i would really like to know how you get on may help me figure out whats going on.

i have a spare p3 going only 2 months old.

 

what does it sound like with one of your rear seats folded forward

 

That is the thing when you have a salon car it is hard to get the bass out into the car but if you put port holes on the back shelf it will sound much better.....

 

with my T1 and the seats down dude it is killa!! really is good. it really much better but soon as the seat goes back up loses it.

Smunns, i had 2007 hawkeye which was a saloon and sounded off the hook if i had a rockford p3 or t1 in that car would prob blow out the back window, was so deep and clear.

cutting the shelf? gonna sound stupid but the platsic on top or the metal under it?

with the rev camera i have a white one spare send me a pm come pick it up if your close by, it fits above number plate if you look there is a bit there for it by the button you open boot from.

 

JL Audio all the way for me, 2 x 12's move's my rear view mirror and makes my hair stand up, even entry lvl JL's should do the trick

 

Was the alpine type r in a ported box ??
