I'm tying the knot in Sunny South Africa to get married to my Missus from Cape Town. Wedding is at a wine estate in Stellenbosch, in Jan 04.
As we are both not regualr church goers, we need some advice about which hymns to play, and which readings to read.
We want a 45 min service, and I have chosen 'Jerusalam' as my hymn to remind me of the good old uk, that 'green & pleasant land' !!
Any ideas from anyone ??
Other then that, we don't have a clue.
We have a few versions of differant vows, but so far have disagreed on all versions !!

I've got this to look forward to - I need suggestions for the 2 shortest hymns there are!
Think of poor old me - It's the mother-in-law doing the ceremony!

Is it a religious ceremony ? The reason I ask is because of the location. I would have thought it to be a civil ceremony and in that case, in the UK they do NOT allow religious songs or readings at all. Just thought I'd check.

It's not in a regular church, but not in a registry office either.
It is in a chapel, that was 'created/converted' for weddings.
I beleive we have to leggally sign the register elsewhere, to be legal. Oddly enough, an abode (house) will do ?!!
We do have a minister.
