Double Yellow Lines that is!!!

Apparantly, parking over leaf covered double yellow lines isnt breaking the law!!! If you cant see them (even if you know they are there) you cant be fined

Some council has just had to revoke all parking fines due to this loophole LMAO!

There was a chap on the news a fair few months back, that got fined for parking on double yellows, so he took the council to court because the lines were old, some of the yellow had worn away, or barely visible on the road making the lines incomplete so the council had to back down as they couldn't enforce it due tot the state of the lines

I got a parking ticket ripped up once coz when the lines were painted, there was obviously a car in the way. I parked where the gap was and on getting the ticket went straight to the local House of Plod and complained. Admittedly, I knew I was pushing my luck, but got away with it!

Anyway, when you come back to your car and find that nice sticker on your screen under your wiper...

Politely ask a leaving car if you can have their used ticket. Check the times are the same as yours "should" have been and VOILA!

Take the ticket to the council offices and explain how it must have fallen off your inside window

also, it is actually the plate on a post that makes it legal - if there is no plate within a certain distance then you can get off.
