This poor chap posted about a bad e-bay transaction and just take a look at the hornets nest he stirred up!

His story had been posted on 100+ discussion boards (and I thought I would add another )

Eric

P.S. I'm in London this week (over from the states) and heading to Alexandra Palace tonight to watch the fire works!

Agreed, it is wrong, dealer should have put in a reserve price.

So much has been posted now about this, the only way the dealer can save face is to admitt the mistake and sell the car to the guy at the final bid price.

I'm a moderator over on that board (SkToBe), so I'm keeping a close eye on it.

No word from MarkD (complaintant) - but the assumption is he is seeking legal council (who would obviously tell him to keep his mouth shut!)

P.S. The fireworks display at Alexandra Palace were ok, but not a "big" as I thought they would be... Any suggestions on where I should go on Wednesday night? (in London)

The thread is now growing exponentially...

It's now close to 600000 (yes 600000) views... (with the bulk of that in the past 4 days)

Cool ...

"Sorry for the delay in posting - I was working late.

It's true.

MARK MITSUBISHI offered me the same ebay EVO at the final auction price."

What a result

Dave.
