Mens' Ring Fingers

Ring finger, right hand. That's what I used to do, but since then I've fulfilled two of your three criteria.
I'll leave which ones as an exercise to the reader

I wear my dads wedding ring on my middle finger, right hand, what is that supposed to mean???
if it means I'm gay, so be it, (i'm not) but thats the only finger it'll fit, and I'm not going to stop wearing it!!

Any rings on men other than wedding ring look daft.......
You'll be asking next whether the 14ct or the 18ct gold sovereign from Argos is the one to go for.......
Hehehe...no offence intended.

A few years ago my gay boss, his gay business partner, his boyfriend and several of their gay friends all used to wear chunky silver rings on one of their thumbs.
I'm not sure if this is a specific trait of gay men, in general, but it makes me idly wonder when I see a bloke with a chunky silver ring on his thumb.

Hi Matt W,
Now I am not 100% sure on this but a signet ring is usually worn on the little finger of the hand you normally use. ie I am left handed and wear mine on the little finger of my left hand. If you think about it tht is the position on the hand it is most easily used for its originally intended purpose, to leave your seal on a letter etc.,.. As such to avoid being tacky a signet ring should be 'reverse-engraved' so in theory it could be used for its historical purpose. Other than a wedding ring when/if I get married that is the only place I would wear a ring and is the only jewellery I wear other than a watch and cufflinks.
Regards
Robin

Agree with the thumb ring - particularly in silver.
Wouldn't a gold band on third finger of right hand signify that he was divorced, thats where I wear my engagement and wedding ring, but only coz they are too nice to be sitting in a ring box.
Signet ring - def on the little finger.

Def dont go for a big ring on the pinky finger - there was a bloke where I used to work who wore a huge ring with a black onyx stone - very very GAY looking - and yes he was!
TK - derr me getting excited about rings I guess I formed a mental picture of ladies I'd been with and what they liked best

I wear a white gold ring on the 3rd finger of my right hand and my diamond-cut white and yellow gold wedding ring on my wedding finger.
Some people wear "silver" coloured rings because yellow gold doesn't suit them (I'm really pale and gold generally looks bloody awful on me).
I also wear a silver id bracelet (not engraved and not chunky) and a silver chain to match the bracelet but I always keep them hidden from view, so not bling-bling

If you have to ask which finger to wear which ring then you aren't man enough to wear one surely?
Fúck what others think, if you like it, you wear it.
For 20 years I've worn a diamond cluster on my wedding finger, not the norm then but now look, Beckham's copied me and every other bling bling newby.
