Bethany: You knew Jesus?
Rufus, the 13th Apostle: Knew him? hell the ****** owes me twelve bucks!

Absolutley class film. Kevin Smith is a very accomplished chappie indeed.

Happy to say that being 'over here' means I'm way closer to Red Bank NJ than I ever was before and I'm gearing up for a little trip to the stash, now that would be cool. They're having a stash bash 2 soon to comemerate Jay getting out of rehab.

So, which of the viewaskewniverse films is your fave? Clerks? Mallrats? Chasing Amy? Dogma? Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back?

have to say that it's a toss up between Dogma and JASBSB, the bong saber battle is just so funny.

Look kids! it's Mark Hamill.... Applause

Quality film. Kevin Smith is a director par excellence.

Every desk should feature a 'buddy christ' (if only to offend any passing catholics )

Dont offend religous people, they are by their nature a little strange I find, I showed our resident reliogous bearded sandal wearer (a stereotype yes but true) a t shirt addvert that said, 'Jesus is coming, look busy' and he said it is blasphemous and was really off with me ?

Surely if Jesus is as wonderful a bloke as the stories suggest that he may have had a sense of humour ?

Absolutely fantastic:

My stepdaughter's mate's family are catholic & her mum has banned her from watching it

Coincidentally she's staying at ours tonight

I love Kevin Smith films, they have me in stitches

Clerks is the first one I saw, and probably my favourite.

Must admit mallrats is quality and possibly my favorite. J&SBSB is close though just for "Him, he loves the ****.." and "Good will Hunting 2 - Hunting season"

Went to the Stash last year when we were in NY.

Quality place, but a lot smaller than you would think.

If you go to the Diner just off the main street ( if you are standing in front of the shop walk to the left and it's a street on the RHS ) , you'll be on the set of one of the scenes in 'Jersey Girl'

If you can pick it up, the Clerks Animated Series is total quality too ... turn off the normal sound and listen to the directors commentary .. It's basically a 30 minute rant about the Disney Corp who cancelled it after the pilot. V Funny.

Jay: You know, Silent Bob, you're a rude mother-******...but you're cute as hell. I could go down on you, suck you, line up three other guys and make like a circus seal. LMAO

Great film, great cast and well directed and acted. Bit of a cult film , never got the recognition it deserved.

I find it a bit sad and short sighted that certain people will not watch it due to the religious content. It is just a film, a funny film not even pretending to be based on real events.

Their loss really.

Dogma is, without doubt, Kevin Smith's best film - IMHO. He shouldn't have bothered with J&SBSB, utter waste of time and money.

look for "Trooper Clerks" on Kazaa, a little 5 min vid from Kevin Smith based on Clerks but with storm troopers also "flying car" is quite funny too
