There has been significant SIAL use of late and I think its time we draw up some rules governing its use. This is a much loved term but has been open to some abuse. For example, SN'er A posts something up totally new and we all have a laugh. Two days later SN'er B posts the same thing up and suddenly its SIAL time. This is obviously wrong as the term SIAL was derived from many many many postings of the same infamous picture
Therefore, I say we draw up the following rules regarding the use of term SIAL and anyone using 'SIAL' incorrectly can be linking to this thread and will have egg on their face for the misuse of the 'scoobynet holy grail term'
My proposed Rules:
The term SIAL is only applicable when:
The post/link/picture is of something that has been posted 5 or more times on Scoobynet and the SIAL user feels he or she could back that up with a search if required
and
The post/link/picture is indentical to the previous ones and doesn't bring any new information or angle to it
or
The post/link/picture still exists on the same page of the same forum at the time of posting. This is just plain silly and even if this is only the second time its posted use of the SIAL term (accompanied with a link to the other thread below) is justified.
Thoughts.............or is this an SIAL

LOL I don't need help - I've got the common sense to do a quick search before posting either:
'Check out these dog's bollocks cars'
or
'Blaine's box to fall into water shocker'
or
'Ferrari sack pit crew'

Technically asking what a SIAL is is an SIAL!!!
An SIAL stands for Scooby In A Lake which results from many many many people posting up pictures for an Impreza that went throught the ice into a lake
