FFS how the hell did these morons get a licence in the first place.
And worst still how the hell can they justify giving the most improved (which is usually hard to tell cos theyre all as dangerous as each other) a new car each week - they shouldnt even be able to leave with their licence FFS
and these are just the ones who got on telly, god knows how many others are out there.

I watched this last week, and it is frightening to say the least
edited to add, my Mum's mate should be in that group, she is currently learning to drive, and hates driving, but I think is doing so for emergency purposes
She admits to closing her eyes whenever a car is coming the other way !!!!

i can't watch it, too cringe worthy - people can't *really* be that bad and if they are the police should turn up and tear up their licences!

The people they pick out for this series must be ones that have a licence but don't drive regularly??
Surely they don't drive on a day to day basis??
FFS we would all be mown down by idiot women who close their eyes when something comes their way and blonde hairdressers who are more concerned about their hair than the road infront!!!

The young lad that crashed his car while doing wheelspins in a carpark the day before it started put a smile on my face although he did say it had calmed him down. Lets hope so!!!
The pictures of him driving his 2.0Ltr 16V Nova made me cringe last week!!!!

This is the 2nd in the series, and last years were no better than this lot.
I agree with above, some of these people should have thier license torn up, and banned for life!
At a time when authorities are spending more and more of our money on speed cameras, and the police spend more and more time stood in laybys with handheld cameras, catching motorists going 5mph over the "limit", surely we should be investing in driver training.
Make the driving test much harder, limit new drivers to a certain horse power, like bikers, and have a re-test every 10 years at least, that would truly reduce road casualties, and bring down insurance premiums.
Oh, and drink drivers bannned for LIFE, and speed limits reviewed across the whole country.
chris.

And why are people who are $hit drivers, who get a little better (but still not up to scratch in my books) rewarded with a car!!!
They should be rewarding good driving with cars, not ***** who can't drive or have issues with driving!!!

Does anyone really believe this isn't staged? No way any of these people could really be this inept. Every one would find it impossible to get insurance by now as they would crash every time they drove. It's all set up and it makes entertaining TV, in the same way David Blaine can really do 'magic'.

But of those 3 women, Blue Simon, 2 were driving under the mentorship of their male partners, either father or husband. Quentin said that on both occasions, they would drive better WITHOUT the constant interruption and intervention from the passenger seat.

I am sure they are playing up to the cameras. As soon as they set off they plough into something.
As old fart says, insurance would be an issue. Have you had any claims in the last 5 years? 'Yes, I average about 5 a day!!' lol!

Mice,
I agree totally, was only having some fun.
Partners are the problem.
The program should remove them or swap them to the other people (who wont then listen to them)
Simon
But old man is going to kill someone regardless
