Electric karts?

I've done two in London -- one in an old bus garage near Battersea, and one outside in Docklands. Think the latter was called F1 city. Was p*ssing with rain and we were on slicks

PS: seen this http://www.karting.co.uk/Tracks/TrackList.asp?

Question

Any recommendations - good prices will help too!

I've been looking at Revolution, £60 for 2 hours, 50mph electric karts...

I went years ago with Peugeot Sport Club to a place near Kings Cross in a big warehouse which was really good and my firm has used Rye House out door kart track in Hertfordshire (Near M25/A10) for the last 2 years and is pleased.

The Raceway at Kings Cross is the fastest indoor circuit in the country. 9hp rather than 6hp carts and a well designed course. We had a work thing there last week and yours truly came 1st! Good fun circuit.

F1 City is outdoors, just round the corner from City Airport. Last time I went there, you could have various rcae formats and a choice of single or twin enginrd karts.

Have also been to indoor kart centre near White City called Daytona, owned belive by Danny Bear, they also have a large outdoor track in Milton Keynes. The indoor track is great esp[ecially if you get the two tracks joined together.

I've been to a couple in and around London:

Battersea (SW London): Indoors, great fun in the winter (track condensates)

Streatham (SW London): Indoors, good fun, nothing special

Surbiton Raceway (Tolworth, Surrey): Outdoors, fast track, good karts, easy track

Brooklands (Surrey): Outdoors, good track layout, good karts, requires more skill than most

City Airport (London): Outdoors, fast-ish track, good karts, very professional

Sandown Park (Esher, Surrey): Outdoors, fast-ish, but quite expensive from memory

Buckmore Park (Kent): Outdoors, huge track (1100m IIRC), very fast karts, very professional, novices get on ok although great fun for good drivers! Expensive though!

I've to a few others, but they are not as close to London!
