Right, whenever I go out in the car, or on foot for that matter, I, as much as any bloke, look at the young (16+) ladies that are around, what I can't understand, is that they always seem to turn around and look at me, all I want to do is look at nice ladies, but they always seem to know that I'm looking, do I have lasers instead of eyes or something, cos they seem to be able to 'feel' me looking at them.
Does this happen to everyone, or is it just me??
Ron.

Yes I do, but, it even happens when I'm in mother's Zafira, or my mates golf diesel!
And there's always eye contact, I've given up looking away now, I just keep looking and enjoying what I see!

P**** teasing.
Girls LOVE attention, and although they probably wouldnt go out with you they want to be noticed and made to feel special. Eye contact is a really good way of letting someone know you're checking them out and you dont mind being caught.
So keep perving!

Subject: peripheral vision in males and females
we were talking about females using peripheral vision to 'asses potential mating partners' where as males use the more obvious 'staring with mouth wide open'.
this is a quote from procrastination inc:
...Maybe we have naturally - better - developed peripheral vision than males, but I think that males might be able to do better with practice...
Wonder if that is related to societal roles in our ancestors?
Females: gatherers, defeners of the young, need well developled awareness of approaching threat.
Males: hunters, need acute centerally focused vision.
It's in the genes!
May simply be in the processing, but could there be structural evidence in the eye to confirm/deny this?

Women enjoy an admiring glance, makes them feel good, but they hate being *stared* at.
It's an art worth perfecting. Check out the Italians for pointers. They're a nation of people watchers.
