Alien Vs Predator scheduled for 2004

Filming starts in October this year

Being written and directed by Paul Anderson

James Cameron is working on a script for Alien 5 with a view to Ridley Scott directing it, and somone else is working on a Predator 3

Alien 1 and 2 were top notch - worthy of a place in any sci-fi junkies collection (and in my top 10) 3 and 4 were awful (a bit like cold pizza topped with dog food )

Alien vs Predator, should be awsome. Lets hope they don't @r5e it up like so many recent action flicks. If Cameron & Scott are collaborating on a new Alien movie it can only be good. As for the previous films, I agree Ressurection was abysmal, but I've always liked 3. OK it's the runt of the litter but I always thought it was truer to Scotts original than Aliens, which was superb in its own right. All my humble opinions of course. Oh well, only 3 months to wait for my R1 9 disc Alien Quadrilogy boxset with all the special editions and alternate endings.

if you listen to the directors comentary on the alien DVD ridley scott metions making a part 5 going back to the aliens home world!!!!!! oh yeah!!!! we will just have to wait!

Original Aliens vs Predator book was

that the predators seeded planets with aliens to hunt as sport

rumour is that it will be set in Antarctica (the thing anyone?)
and that the story *will not* be following any of the comic stories

Yes your quite right, and in Predator 2 it kept going back to that meat fridge so they could monitor and watch it

Another possibly storyline is set in Tibet, where someone harvests some Alien Eggs to cultivate some new Aliens to battle against the Predators
