Sort of, but not really

I will be in Reading, but probably spending most of the weekend in a beer tent at IWA National Boat Festival in Beale Park

As mentioned, please keep the noise down, I live three miles from the festival site and I can still hear everything going on.

On the plus side, the office closes down on the Thursady night fopr a long weekend as we are only about 200 yards from the site and no one can get in to work, so on the plus side we get an extra days holiday.

About 250 yards. The entrance to the site is at the Cow lane end of Ritchfield Avenue, opposite end is Caversham Road.

IWA festival? Never did understand all that punting up and down the river nonsense - you need to get yourself in the salty stuff!

LOL - used to live on Cardiff road. Was great having a 3 minute walk back to the house from Reading Festival (then Reading Rock!) talking loudly about the nice warm shower and bath I was about to have whilst walking past the muddy masses

hi wrx69
not sure on the time, When you get there they will try and sell you a programme which costs about £5 (just another way of trying to extract as much money out of you ) but I just asked other people what time the bands are on.
As for the ques you can get in to the main arena pretty much straight away or 5 mins max. To get in to the camp site takes a bit longer if you are staying the weekend, depends what time of day you are going.
Spent an hour in traffic last year waiting to get in to the car park

I'm going to Reading but not to the festival (I work there). So if you see the Great Brighams Mead office near TGI Fridays, spare me a thought.
