anyone know if i can 'up' my priority for jabs - booked at the last minute and didnt realise we would ge going anywhere that would require jabs...

i got to the doctors once a year - maximum, and thats only if i'm dying - other than that i dont bother.

booked up a last minute holiday deal and need some jabs - will they book me in as an emergency case... no

my GF went to her GP - booked in for the next day and in and out in 10 minutes.

my GP wants to go through my whole f*cking medical history and ponce about - and thats in a weeks time - so if i get Hepatitis A in the first 4 days of the holiday i f*cked

I'm sure you can get it done privately if you really need to. But it's just another sad reflection of the state of the NHS. I'm sure the jab would only cost the NHS a few quid - how much would treating you for Hep A cost? A few grand at least. Preventative health care in this country is ****e, just to save a few quid short term.

Details of what you need can be found here

BA Travel Clinics can do jabs, but obviously, it will cost you - might be your only choice though .
