Has anyone been watching 24?
I thought that the first series was really good, the second one started OK but it's now being strung out each week!
The funniest thing is that it is suppsed to be about the goings on over a 24 hour period and they are now in to the 29th or 30th !!!!!!!
anyone got any views?

Kim needs something 
They're on the 21st hour I think, or something, it started at 8am IIRC..
And yeah, this one has kinda lost it toward the end, still the best thing on TV though.

brilliant stuff, 2nd series better than the first BUT the last 2-3 have been drawn out a bit too much! it should have ended a few hours ago

I can't see what the appeal is....contrived, American, lowest common denominator garbage, both series that is.

OK, point taken about them not going beyond 24 hours, but they are dragging it out!
Agree about Kim, she should have been shot a long time ago, don't you think that by now she would have done it herself, all the "bad" luck she is having!

I really enjoy 24. It's cleverly written, and keeps your attention from start to finish. Tonnes of sub-plots, twists and even now, after the majority of the day being over you're still guessing who to trust.
Bit of a shock to see Jim Dale (Jim Robinson) from Neighbours becoming President!!
And Kim must be going for the Guinness Book of Records for getting into dangerous situations! Mind you, imagine them filming 24 hours of our lives. Hmm can see the episode briefing in the Papers...
"Jack Bauer chases hacker for software proof to prevent war, while now ex-President Palmer fights to regain power... in the mean time, Duck_Pond carries on reading Auto Express magazine while dropping the kids off at the pool, after last night's balti."

He (Jim Dale) was also in the last couple of episodes of the X-Files, as a nasty alien.
Can't remember if his character in that was called "Jim" too... Maybe he can't act unless his real first name is used?
