rats

We've got a grain storage barn, and some other sheds round by us and hence loads of BIG rats.
The best way to kill them is with Rat Pack or similar. Really nasty stuff and kills em by stopping any cutts clotting so they blead to death. Nice.
The most fun way me and my brother found was to take our dog (Collie) with us when we were lifting the last of the hay from the shed (As there was always rats under it) and let the dog go at them. It used to go mental and kill loads of them. We used Grapes (metal pitch fork like things) to stab the one the dog didnt get. Nasty but effective.
Ratts are F**king horrid things, and vicous to boot.

urban rats have evolved at twice the speed of humans.
they are not afraid to carry weapons of mouse destruction, and as they have no fixed abode, or distiguising marks, the police are powerless.
as a rat will nor rat on a rat, its hard to find witnesses too.

KungFuMonkey - Class!!
I used to have some mates with a pair of dachshunds. During the afternoon they would rig a massively powerful bulb in the stables and put some food out. Then we would go back late in the evening with the dogs, fire the light up and throw them into the stable. Tha carnage was something to behold
No more rats for a while though

i'd be careful with poisoning as they will probably crawl off into a remote corner of the house to die and when the begin to rot the smell will be horrific!!!! i'd say get in a pro or invest in a whole pile of kick **** rat traps!!

A friend of mine had a rat in the house. I gave him some bait and soon the rat was no longer seen or heard. Feckin terrible smell was brewing though. I was round there a couple of weeks later and suggested that the smell required a bit more investigation... lifted up the sofa and there was a big bloated rat - 2 weeks decomposed
