People will truly buy anything I was going to throw this away.
It's a licence to print money, apart from the listing fees and final value fees then youre laughing.
Selling internationally is a must as it opens you up to wider sale base.
Doesnt cost any extra to have your own shop, just means you may get on the related shops link when you do a search, which derives more clicky interest.

I run a shop on eBay and it sells all the tat I don't want any more including Hollie's clothes which she can't fit in any more, clothes that I can't fit in any more and other such stuff lying around my house. I have also got family donating stuff for me to sell, so it's great!
I enjoy it and have made a little bit of money out of it too, so I don't see a problem. Yes their fees are quite a bit, but a car boot sale costs a tenner to get in.

Well, some do, some don't. If it's high-end high street or NEXT, M&S etc. then yes. If you have anything still with tags on, then that's even better.
I sold some ornaments which were sitting up in the loft and got a really good price for them, much more than I expected.
Other things I thought would sell, didn't. It's amazing what people will buy though, I have a bidding war at the moment over a sample of a Jean Paul Gaultier fragrance! Didn't actually cost me anything, but they're fighting over it!

I've sold over £300 worth of stuff and it's cost me about £40. Depends on the value as to how much of the end value you have to pay them. Some of those things have been listed twice, but IIRC, if you sell on second attempt, they refund one lot of listing fees.
Listing without pictures on the gallery only costs 15p, so it's quite cheap to list stuff.

I was trying to sell my mountain bike for $650 didn't get a sniff, I then decided to break it down and sell the parts individually, ended up making over $1000!
I'm always selling stuff thats lying around, well worth IMO.
