went to a strip joint with the lads and was shocked to find myself bored as f*ck

lol, I remember once I went to one and one of the birds had a certain part of her anatomy pierced downstairs - and it wasnt a small piece of jewellery but a great huge pirates ear ring type affair. 
My mate placed his finger through it and asked her to marry him lol
He was paralytic - god knows what damage he would have done if his hand had slipped!!
Oh, and we were also asked to leave fairly shortly afterwards

Well if I ever get bored of wathcing naked women I would be VERY worried. Although IMO pole dancing is better. Nice when it's not so... 'in your face'.

The first time I went to one I really felt quite embaressed to be there, sure I like seeing girls in the buff but it just felt too up close and personal, almost like it wasnt right? Im not a fan! Waste of cash unless its a stag night when well its almost in the rules that you have to go to one !

I'd have still watched fishin though in preference to some old slag rubbing her muffin up&down a bit of pipe.
never been to a pole dance place,probly never will - give me a "pass the pint pot round for the stripper" event any day of the week

I'm with ADP! The younger you are the more exciting these clubs are. Novelty factor soon wears off (esp if yer getting it at home )
