I'm not straight.
Ok, so I don't find men sexually attractive, but I do have all sorts of other desires that preclude me from being reasonably classified as 'straight'. Are you straight and if so does being gay make one crooked or bent?

1. So, what are your other desires, then?
2. Are you saying that you're mentally gay to the point?

Eh?? Look, this thread, primarily, is about straight and gay, not about other sexualities. But if you insist, you should be able to talk about you being or doing a bi or a tri, I suppose...........

1. No need to be Sir Caustic! I was not trying to charm you or anything. Why would I do that when you openly say that you aren't straight, hm? Honestly, some people!
Now when you tell me that by chance if you're a bit straight, but then you desire for Indian womEn, do you think I'd like to attract a man who desires anything brown on two legs and a f............. you know what. Honestly, some people!
2. Then why say you're not straight? Perhaps with your 'No' you mean that you're fully mentally gay, not just 'to the point' ?

Because straight implies true and proper. Well this makes no sense! Why should lusting after the opposite sex be described in a way that suggests virtuousness? I think a huge proportion of so-called heterosexual males are 'bent' and crooked and shouldn't be granted the privilege of self-identifying as straight.
The other angle of this 'gay-straight' issue is that psychologically, every man has a woman deep within him, and every woman is partly a man. Now just because this is the case, it doesn't make one a non-straight, if we go by the contemporary and general recognition of the word 'straight'.
I must agree that when I am performing assessments, and when someone doesn't understand the word 'heterosexual', I explain, and most come out with going for the option 'straight', and quite a few of them look either quite relieved and I see the glint of moral strength in their eyes. I have to say that this makes me question the term 'straight' for heterosexuals.

I have to say I'm no reincarnation of any angel, but I'm quite straight, most times. Doesn't go in my favour, mind. I wish I were a bit bent.
I know some GLBT people that are as straight as me, or even more! I do admire them for it, but they end up being slated for being straight as well, and sometimes, end up hurting others, like other straight (most times) people do.

Not always, but there's a good possibility for one to be unconsciously gay or Bi, for preferring **** intercourse, yes.
No. You could be just someone medically minded.

Yes I was going to ask you to define 'straight'. Now I know what your meaning of it is, so basically, what it is that generally, anyone being a hetero would mean straight. I know your angle, where you are connecting this 'straightness' to being 'true and proper', but in language (sorry, it's only my second language and you know better, I know), certain terms become common reference terms, even when they originated from the angle you provide.
The other angle of this 'gay-straight' issue is that psychologically, every man has a woman deep within him, and every woman is partly a man. Now just because this is the case, it doesn't make one a non-straight, if we go by the contemporary and general recognition of the word 'straight'.

I self identify as a Christian, and as such I choose not to judge others on the grounds that their distorted desires are less socially acceptable than mine.
