Question

Got some visitors coming up in June, and they want to stop off to break up the journey. So I'm trying to find a decent but inexpensive hotel they can use for the stopover, and to have a little explore of the LD whilst they're there.

Any recommendations?

Here you are....Nagoya House in Bowness. Do a search to find the website, it's central friendly and reasonable too. Also a self catering flat available for £60 to sleep up to 4.

We have relatives that rent out their very nice place. Think it might be booked up though

Have a check on http://www.catlands.co.uk. Good thing is you rent the house out, not the rooms, so if you get a large party it works out quite cheap

Apologies for the shameless plug, but four of us went up there for a week and worked out at 75 quid each for a week, plus food (which was mostly in the pub after nice walks )

Talking

LOL. They only want it for one night.

Oh, and Barge, it's a Defender we're getting, not a Disco.

Cool

Dunno. No plans to venture south right now (hence getting rid of the X-Type). Might have a contract possibility coming up, so if it comes off I'll be back on the pizza rota again.

How's the knee?

sounds good to me.

knee is throbbing
very hot to touch
pussing yellow muck at the moment
but still works the loud pedal on the escort

going to go the Dr's in the morning, went to the A & E this afternoon after work & most of south london was sitting there wanting to be patched up from last night so I gave up

let me know about the pizza
