But in Alien 3 you get an "Alien" perspective on things

How can you be scared [as a viewer] of something the director is making you empathise with?
Alien Resurrection was ok. But the moneymaking really has taken off now.
Aliens by far the best of the series IMHO.

Have to say the first and last are my favourites.
Resurrection takes it further - empathising with the aliens is the whole point IMO.
Stunning special effects and the basketball scene is brilliant when the half human/half alien Ripley kicks ****
All in, the best original/sequal set of ANY movie theme even made. Not one bad film in there.

The best bit for me in Alien 4 was when there was an Alien coming up through the floor
Next thing the alien is killed, and Ripley appeared, and when Winona asked her why she killed one of her own, she simply replied 'It got in my way'
Class, the Basketball scene was good too
to me the Alien series has become like the Hellraiser films, where the Alien/Pinhead are more the heroes so to speak

I was watching it last night - Aliens is by far the best, can't understand how a film made 7? years later than Aliens has worse special effects? The scenes with the alien on the ceiling etc were soooooooooooooooooo fake and CG it wasn't funny - seen better effects in Doctor Who

Aliens was the best (uncut) then the first one. The third was crap and the fourth is so memorible that i have forgotten about it.
